I hate being on call, be it a black or white one.

if you're unlucky with overwhelming workload, horribly unstable patients' condition....one call could kill lots of cells

but in the other way round, if you're free and get nothing much to do....especially being the only houseman on call, you'd start to feel lonely and being sentimental sometimes. there's nothing much you can do until your dect phone rings
